Comfort comes from the furniture being engineered with the proper pitch and depth. The perfect “sit” is built in from the very beginning with an eight-way hand-tied spring system. This system provides a wide range of both side-to-side and up-and-down movement, resulting in a comfortable, even, and independent seat suspension for each person.

It is universally accepted that the finest and most comfortable “sit” has a genuine eight-way hand-tied hourglass spring system. In the construction of these systems, the craftsman individually ties heavy gauge coils from front to back, side to side, and diagonally (eight ways) to provide the highest level of quality, comfort, and durability.

With each spring being individually tuned by hand, crafting this exquisite furniture is more time consuming and costly. Therefore, only the finest of craftsmen who possess a deft touch and a highly experienced eye create each piece in our Designer Series.
